Living Legend Award

The CSMA Living Legend Award is the highest honor presented by the Carolina Soul Music Awards. It is bestowed upon an artist whose body of work, cultural impact, and enduring influence have shaped the landscape of Southern Soul music across generations.

This award recognizes not just a career, but a legacy — one that continues to inspire artists, move audiences, and define the sound of the Carolinas and beyond.

The 2026 Living Legend Award honoree will be announced at the 2nd Annual Carolina Soul Music Awards on November 1, 2026 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Columbia, SC.
